Nicholas Wearne

Nick was born in Safford, Arizona. From a young age Nick was always moving around because of his dad’s employment. He has lived in multiple countries including Mexico, Chile, and Portugal but Arizona is the place he calls home. Nick graduated from Sahuarita High School, near Tucson Arizona. He went on to attend Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University (ASU) with a full ride scholarship and majored in Political Science. He finished after only three years of school and graduated summa cum laude.

In the middle of his college experience Nick decided to serve a mission for the LDS church in the country of Portugal. His mission was a marvelous experience in his life, serving people from Lisbon to the beautiful Azores islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Religion, faith, morals, and family continue to play a central role in Nick’s life.

Once he finished his undergraduate degree, Nick went on to Law School at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU. While in law school Nick obtained a certificate in Health Law, from the college’s center for Law, Science, and Innovation. Nick also was on the Law Journal for Social Justice where he participated as an associate editor for two years.

While in law school Nick also interned with both the Environmental Enforcement Section of the Attorney General’s Office, and with the City of Scottsdale Attorney’s Office. This July, Nick sat for and passed the Arizona Bar exam and was admitted to practice law in October.
